JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Oracle DBA - Locations: BANGALORE & CHENNAI & PUNE - 4 - 10 years of relevant experience.

Skill Requirement :

Good in Oracle RDBMS architecture concepts• Usage of data dictionary views• Space management, • Undo Managaement, • Managing Redo log

and Archive log files• User management• Backup and recovery methods.• Backup and recovery using RMAN.• Logical backup and recovery using

export/import• Oracle network configuration ( listener and tnsnames)• Database performance tuning.• Trouble shooting database issues• Basic SQL

and PL/SQL knowledge• Working knowledge of Unix / AIX• Knowledge of 10g• Working Knowledge of RAC, Data Guard• Use of problem and

change management tools.Good communication skills.OCP certification preferred. 16 years of Education.

2.Oracle Apps DBA - Locations:BANGALORE & PUNE & MUMBAI & PATNA - 4 - 10 years of relevant experience.

Skill Requirement :

APPS DBA is responsible for Database & Application Tuning, Database Cloning, Patch Application, Unix Shell Scripting, Upgrade & Installation of

Oracle Applications, Backup & Recovery, and Documentation.Must have Oracle 11i Applications DBA experience and Oracle 8i/9i database

experience. & Unix, Solaris.Initiating, testing, documenting, and managing Oracle application Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) to resolution;

performing backup and recovery procedures; performing capacity planning; participating in the planning and direction of applications strategy to

ensure alignment with overall technical and company objectives.Candidate must be self-motivated, assertive while possessing the ability to handle

and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environmentability to effectively interface and team with all levels of the organization. Open to work in Odd /

Shift Hours.Good communication skills.16 years of Education.

3.DB2 DBA - Locations:BANGALORE,CHENNAI,HYDERABAD,GURGAON,NOIDA,NewDELHI,PUNE.- 4 - 10 years of relevant experience.

Skill Requirement :

• Good in DB2 RDBMS architecture concepts• Usage of database catalogs• Space management, • Managing Archive log files• Managing Re-org,

Runstats utility• User management• Backup and recovery methods including point in time recovery.• Backup and recovery using DB2 backup and

restore commands.• Ability to use export/import, DB2move, Load utility.• DB2 node directory / catalog configuration • Database performance tuning

using DB2dart, DB2explain utilities.• Trouble shooting database issues using db2diag and notification logs, snapshot, event monitor, db2hc or

enabling hmon.• Basic SQL knowledge• Working knowledge of Unix/linux/AIX.• Knowledge of Tivoli Storage Manager / Tivoli Data protector (TSM

/ TDP)• Troubleshooting of issues in Tivoli Storage Manager / Tivoli Data protector (TSM / TDP)• Knowledge of DB2 UDB 9.x (Viper)• Working

Knowledge of HACMP, HADR in DB2 UDB environment.• Use of problem and change management tools.Open to work in Odd / Shift Hours.Good

4.MS SQL Server/ UDB - Location: BANGALORE - 3 - 7 years relevant experience

Skill Requirement :

Good in SQL Server RDBMS architecture concepts• Usage of System catalogs on Query Analyzer• Space management including Filegroups•

Managing Transaction log files• User management• Backup and recovery methods using Enterprise Manager and Query Analyser.• Logical backup

and recovery using export/import from one instance to another.• SQL network configuration ( using Server / Client Network utilities)• Database

performance tuning.• Trouble shooting database issues• Basic SQL and T/SQL knowledge• Working knowledge of Windows (Windows 2000,

Windows 2003)• Working Knowledge of SQL Server Cluster.• Knowledge of SQL Server 2005• Use of problem and change management tools.Open

to work in Odd / Shift Hours.Good communication skills.16 years of Education.


5.Teradata Administration - Location:BANGALORE - Minimum 4 - 8 years relevant experience

Skill Requirement :

#Teradata DBMS monitoring - PMON, Teradata Manager, Query Session, Recovery Manager -Teradata DBMS Installation/Updating with NCR - Plan,

DBMS Configuration support - XCTL, XDBW, Teradata Manager, Vproc Manager, Qryconfig -DBMS Tuning support - Priority Scheduler setting,

DBS Control Records -Teradata Security - Userids, Profile, Roles, Accessrights -Teradata DBMS Recovery Management - Tpareset, TDP failure, TDP

channel failure -Teradata Backup & Recovery Management - MVS ARCMAIN, Netvault, Netbackup-Teradata SQL analysis - BTEQ, SQL Assistant,

Errorlog, TSET, Explain, Collect Statistics -Teradata Space Management - Teradata Administrator, Teradata Manager -Teradata Client Tools Support
